WHY DO SOME PEOPLE EXPERIENCE A ‘GRAYING AFFECT’ WHEN THEY USE KANSA WANDS?
When using the kansa some people experience a graying of the oil and skin. Usually the oil goes a little gray; sometimes there is no change & rarely the oil goes very dark gray.
The grayness is an indication of the acidity of the skin. The higher the acidity, the darker the gray coloration. The skin’s acidity can vary with stress, diet & environment. The color changing means the acidity is being pulled out of the skin and is a very gentle detox.
When this graying occurs, simply wipe it off the surface of your skin with a gentle cleanser & a soft tissue. When you are finished with your session clean the kansa as directed before the next use.
CLEANING & CARING FOR KANSAS
For peronal use – clean the bronze vati with a light paste of kaolin clay & cold water. Wipe it clean with a cold damp cloth and a drop of tea tree oil.
For professional use – follow your usual health and safety regulations. Always clean after every use as above & before your next client make sure there is no trace of tea tree oil to avoid irritation.
To re-energise – to energetically recharge and ‘clear’ the kansa wands, occasionally hold the metal surface under running cold water or rub it on fresh, clean green grass as they are taken back to the earth.
